Windies burn review
There’s a big LBW shout from the visitors, but umpire Rod Tucker doesn’t believe it’s about to hit the stumps.
Head drops to one knee and tries to sweep Chase away. He hits it flush on the pad but records show it went over the stumps. Here you go.
Australia in complete control of the summer in the opening Test.
Drinks break: Australia 3-478
A look at Travis Head’s Test career
As Head moves to 37, with Smith on 143, here’s a chart charting the former’s Test career so far.
It briefly got above 50, but is now below 40. A decent dig hits 40 here.
Head just isn’t the same player overseas.
A tough old day in the field for the Windies
Gentlemen. Smith bowled Holder at mid-off for four. He’s completely lubricated by it and really relaxes his hands when he’s well over 100.
Travis Head follows suit. Gets some space and crunches the cover drive to the boundary.
The two put on 60 runs for the fourth wicket.
A grim day for tourists who just can’t touch this Aussie order.

Smith moves to 130
Steve Smith hits a beautiful cover drive that races to the fence. Seales just bowls and Australia’s second drop is bowled.
There’s a very, very one-sided contest going on in Perth right now. Windies are bowling like they are waiting for a statement.
Australia 3-441 from 128 overs
Head needs a score in Perth
Smith knocks one around the corner and instead of settling for one, quickly gets out of the blocks and runs back for the second run. That is a great intention.
Head builds his innings nicely. However, he did not score a single century in his previous eight innings, which yielded 99 runs at 14:14. His performances in limited overs cricket have been top notch but he has not been able to plunder runs against the red ball for some time.

In case you missed it: Smith equals Bradman
The head starts with a bang
Travis Head manages a few boundaries to make his innings better than running the ball.
Who could forget Head’s sensational hundred in Hobart last year? Serious digging. Australians will be hoping for more.
Smith is in travel mode. Windies don’t look like getting him out.
Australia 3-414
The players are back in the middle
Righto. The middle session of the second day is over.
You can imagine that Steve Smith will pick up the pace a bit now that he’s passed triple figures.
Australia will be hoping to get close to 500 before declaring. Unless there is a major collapse in the next hour.
Travis Head can also score at a decent rate.
Labuschagne retired in 204
As soon as lunch strikes, Labuschagne is caught off guard.
A bit of a bizarre throwaway in a way. Labuschagne tries to hit behind point off the spin of Kraigg Brathwaite but gets a strong edge which is superbly caught by Joshua Da Silva.
He looks broken. A fantastic knock, his second highest in Test cricket.
Smith is unbeaten at 114.
Australia 3-402
Bang: Labuschagne brings up a double century
Stand and clap people.
Marnus Labuschagne uncorked his second Test double century.
After a great show on day one, Labuschagne backed it up in style.
He brings the two-ton with a beautiful cover run to the fence. Great shift.
